Class booking, cancellation and rescheduling policies

 

Class bookings (all)

All class bookings must be made via the online booking system and paid for at the time of booking. This includes face to face classes (we’re currently unable to accept ‘walk in’s - you must pre-book for COVID safety compliance. For online classes, bookings are open until the time the class starts. Face to face bookings close 1 hour before the class is due to start.)

Please check that you are booking into the correct class type (e.g. online or face to face access). It is not possible to transfer bookings between online and face to face bookings.

Places are offered on a first come, first served basis.

Face to face classes

Transferring a booking

If you are unable to attend your booked class you may transfer your booking to another available class with sufficient notice (24 hours). If insufficient notice is given, your booking is not transferrable and you will not receive a refund for the missed class.

Where less that 24 hours notice is given, if your space can be filled at short notice you may be permitted to transfer to an alternative date - this is at the discretion of MissFits Workout.

Cancellation

Please note, all confirmed bookings are non-refundable. Cancelled bookings cannot be reinstated, transferred, or credited. Refunds are not issued unless a class is cancelled (and cannot be rescheduled) by MissFits Workout.

Before booking you should:

  3. Understand that it is your responsibility to update MissFits Workout if your circumstances change or you have an injury.

COVID secure requirements

  1. Only attend class if you are feeling well, are COVID symptom free and have not been in contact with anyone with symptoms in the last 2 weeks.

  2. Wear a mask/face covering on your way into the building/hall/studio (you do not need to keep it on during class).

  3. Sanitise your hands on arrival, collect a basket for your personal items, select a ‘dot’ (or space if outside) and place your basket (near to you) at the edge of the room away from other participants. Personal belongings should not be brought to class, other than a personal water bottle and keys.

  4. Do not stand within 2 metres of another participant or ‘socialise’ with each other before, during or after class.

  5. If you become symptomatic during a class – you will be required to leave immediately. If you then test positive for COVID-19 please inform Becky (beckymissfits@gmail.com).

  6. After the class, leave promptly and do not gather in groups in the carpark.

  7. No participant is permitted to return to the class for at least 10 days from the onset of symptoms and they must be at least 7 days with no symptoms. They will not be allowed back to the venue for at least 14 days from the onset of symptoms and will require clearance from the COVID Medical officer before they return.

  8. Clinically extremely vulnerable individuals or those continuing to live with anyone deemed clinically extremely vulnerable should not be engaged in the class environment in line with current government advice.

    Participants deemed ‘clinically extremely vulnerable’ should continue to follow government advice. This currently includes maintaining ‘shielding’ and therefore, should not return to organised exercise outside of the home. You can, of course join us online!

Online classes

Live and on-demand classes

Where possible, classes will be recorded and made available to all class participants booked to attend that specific session. You must be booked into a class to receive the on-demand recording but you do not necessarily need to attend the live session. You can, of course attend live and access the recording if you wish.

If you wish to receive the on-demand recording, do not transfer your booking - simply do not attend the live session and the recording will be emailed to you within 24 hours of the class finishing. Recordings will be available for a limited time (approximately 1 week).

Transferring a booking

If you are unable to attend a live class, you may amend your booking and transfer to another available class with sufficient notice (at least 1 hour before the class is due to start).

You can transfer to another available online class via our class booking/scheduling system up to 24 hours before the class is due to start. If you wish to reschedule after that time (but at least 1 hour before the class is due to start), please email becky@missfitsworkout.co.uk with the date you’d like to be rescheduled to.

Cancellation

Class Passes and Subscriptions

Class Pass Access Period

Each Class Pass access period will begin on the date purchased and will be redeemable for the duration of the time stated on the pass/subscription . Class Pass access can be purchased monthly (pay as you go) or via a monthly renewable subscription for online classes or in bundles of 6 or 12 class passes for all classes.

Cancellation

You are free to cancel your Class Pass subscription at any time, at which point your membership will expire at the end of the month in which you have cancelled.

‘Pay as you Go’ passes cannot be partially cancelled/refunded - they will expire when all sessions are booked/attended or 31 days after purchase -whichever occurs first.

12 or 6 class pass bundles cannot be partially cancelled/refunded - they will expire when all sessions are booked/attended or 8 weeks after purchase -whichever occurs first.

Class booking

During your Class Pass access period you will be able to book your classes through the booking system using your unique code at no extra cost. You can also request to book all available sessions at once (email becky@missfitsworkout.co.uk to request this once your purchase is complete stating which sessions you’d like to book - e.g. "All MissFits Mondays sessions" or "All Friday This Girl Can sessions") - there is no penalty for not attending classes you’ve booked.

Once you have booked a class - the relevant (e.g. either online of face to face) booking policy applies.

Transferring a booking
